Skibbereen Comhaltas summer Irish nights will take place in the West Cork Hotel on Wednesday nights during July and August starting at 9pm.
Seisiún is a trail of Irish nights around Ireland, and Skibbereen branch is proud to have been designated as the West Cork venue on the national programme for the 13th year in succession
Each show will consist of two components, the first being a professional show performance by a resident group of branch musicians, singers, storytellers and dancers showcasing a sample of the cultural talent in our branch. Following a break for tea, the second half of the show will continue with an informal session, where everyone in the audience will be welcome to join in the music, singing and ceili dancing, and your participation if you wish to join in will be most welcome. Each night a different guest artist will also contribute to the show. This is a family night out and children are most welcome, and are reminded to bring along their instruments or dancing shoes as they will have an opportunity to perform in the second half of the show each week.
Tickets will be available at the door on the night, we suggest you arrive early in order to select your seating in good time
Admission is €10 for adults which includes tea/coffee. Children Under 12 are free.
Enjoy dinner in the West Cork Hotel restaurant or bar and avail of half-price tickets for Seisiún.
Half-price tickets can be claimed by producing your receipt at the hotel reception desk
