Welcome to the homepage of Craobh Sciobairin branch of Comhaltas Ceoltoirí Eireann  - an organisation formed in 1969 to foster and promote Irish music and culture in the Skibbereen area of County Cork. Our membership is drawn from many of the surrounding towns and area's including Leap, Rosscarbery, Drimoleague, Baltimore, Ballydehob, Castletownsend Aughadown and Caheragh, as well as the town itself.

Craobh Sciobairin is dedicated to the promotion of Irish traditional music, song and dance. To achieve our aims, we organise regular classes, sessions, oncerts, seisiún's and committee meetings and we also encourage our members to participate in Fleadhanna Cheoil.

If you like Irish Music or dancing, why not browse our website or e-mail us for more information.  You can also follow us on Facebook to keep up to date with our day-to-day branch news and events. Who knows, you might even decide to join us! New members are always welcome

Welcome to Skibbereen Comhaltas

We regret that due to current Covid-19 Health Restrictions and the unavailablity of venues etc we will be unable to hold our regular Autumn programmes of céilí dancing classes, youth sessions and Grupaí Cheoil classes. We look forward to resume activity again when public health guidance allows for such indoor gatherings to take place

We are now accepting membership for the upcoming Branch Year.
