County Fleadh Results

Well done to our branch members who had a very enjoyable weekend at the Cork Comhaltas County Fleadh in Ballincollig last weekend. Best wishes to our branch members who have qualified to represent Cork at Fleadh Cheoil na Mumhan in Cork City next July. Well done to all

• Cian O’Connell – Piano Accordion, 2nd place.

• Maisie Hallihan – Piano, 3rd place.

12/15:

• Ciara Connolly – Whistle Slow Airs, 2nd place

15/18:

• Aíne Connolly – Fiddle Slow Airs, 3rd place.

Senior:

• Andrew Collins – Piano Accordion, 1st place; Piano, 2nd place.

• Daniel Coughlan – Bodhrán, 2nd place.

• Dick Miles – Lilting, 2nd place.

• Helen Coughlan – Duet, 3rd place recommended

Well done also to Ciarán French and Helen Coughlan who were members of the winning Drombeg Senior Band (Douglas CCÉ) and to Chantelle French and Katelyn French who were members of the Baile Núis CCÉ Senior Grúpa Cheoil which won 2nd place.
