Fleadh na Mumhan results

Congratulations to our seven branch members who were successful in their solo competitions at Fleadh Cheoil na Mumhan in Thurles last weekend and now go forward to represent Munster in the All-Ireland Fleadh in Wexford from August 9-11.

• Ciara Connolly: Whistle Slow Airs, 2nd place

• Kellianne French: Whistling, 2nd place

Over 18

• Ciarán French: Drums. 1st place

• Daniel Coughlan: Bodhrán,1st place

• Andrew Collins: Piano Accordion, 2nd place

Well done also to Helen Coughlan and Ciarán French who were members of the Drombeg Senior Céilí Band which won 1st place for the second year in a row and will be performing in the Senior Céílí Band competition in Wexford..
