Skibbereen Comhaltas will be holding our next monthly Junior Music Céilí on next Tuesday, November 7th in the GAA Pavillion at 6pm with Martina French calling the dances. We invite all young dancers in our branch to come along and join in a fun, social hour of learning some céilí dances such as Siege of Ennis, Walls of Limerick, Shoe the Donkey etc
This class is free for all junior dancers currently enrolled in our our Tuesday dancing classes in the Gaelscoil with Emma O'Flynn. There is a €3 cover charge for all other dancers attending the monthly Junior Céilí class.
A reminder that there is no Junior dancing classes in the Gaelscoil with Emma O'Flynn on the first Tuesday of the Month to allow everyone to attend the monthly céilí and session.
Following a short break for refreshments, the junior music session will begin at 7.15pm and continue until 8.15pm. Our Junior Session will be geared especially towards the younger upcoming musicians in the branch where we will play some common tunes at a steady pace which everyone can join in with.
Following the conclusion of the Junior Session, there will be an advanced session for teenagers from 8.15pm-9.00pm and we especially invite any musicians in secondary school to attend this session
